LinkGather - An Overview



This WordPress plugin gives you the ability to export the links for all your websites posts in Google Spreadsheets style.

You can get the plugin through the WordPress Plugin Repository by looking for LinkGather, also you can just go to the URL below:

Once you have installed and activated the plugin, you are ready to start using it.

Help Guide


A new menu item on the left side of your admin portal will appear called LinkGather:

Hovering over this menu option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different options available for you:

If you click on the Home title, this will navigate to the plugins developer page which supplies instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Hit the Post Links option to take you to the page that will reveal all of your websites published posts’ URL's. Be aware that for the purposes of these instructions, we are using our blog test site with just a few URLs in it.

You should now see a table with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. However how many posts you have will depend get more info on how long this list will be.

At the bottom of the link list, you should see that LinkGather has also calculated how many post URL you have.

You then also have the ability to download the articles in Excel style.

Page Links


The procedure above is website exactly the same for Page Links, but instead of showing back published articles, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack Links


The option for JetPack Links is again exactly the same instructions as those above, however, JetPack ShortLinks are actually built in short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to gather those URL.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Hoping that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links option will bring back all those JetPack URL's that it has gathered:
